Mr. Bart, from the Milton Bee Club, came to visit us at our meeting and taught us all about honeybees. He gave us his personal history and how he became a bee keeper, and then taught us a lot of about the life of bees. He brought pieces of a bee box, and the girls got to help him assemble it, let everyone taste his honey (which was delicious), and then we went outside and he showed the girls how to smoke bees from the hive when it's time for honey collection. We also did a small craft making Bee Pencil Toppers.
