My Great Day and Snacks Badge Meeting

About this meeting idea

My Great Day: We did this at the start of the school year. We started with a relay race but let one team back their backpack the night before, lay their clothes out, etc to be all ready and the other team had all their stuff scattered. The team who was organized won the race. We talked to the girls about why that would be and how being prepared sets you up for a great day! We also went over how the girls can take ownership and things they can do at night to be ready for the next day. For the snack badge we brought in three troop moms who ran their our nutrition company. They came up with three nutritious and easy snacks for the girls to prepare as an after school snack. The girls made their snacks and sampled them!
